CSF of Mansfield Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Applications for 2024

Are Now Open

The ChapterNet Student Dashboard is your "one-stop shop" for everything related to our chapter's scholarships. Log in and create your student profile or, for previous applicants, simply update your student profile, and you will be able to apply for the scholarships you are eligible for with just a few clicks. Our Chapter offers two scholarship categories: one for current year high school graduates and a second for students already attending a college or university & pursuing an undergraduate degree.  Scholarships are not offered for Graduate School.  You must be a Mansfield resident to initially qualify.  Your completed student profile will determine which scholarship you are eligible for.  However, your eligibility is not limited to just the Mansfield Chapter's scholarships -- you'll see opportunities from Scholarship America's partners across the nation.

What's more, logging into the Student Dashboard will also give you access to volunteer and internship opportunities, important news about college life, and exclusive resources to help you manage your money, succeed in college, and take advantage of everything Dollars for Scholars has to offer.

If you're a parent, this is a great resource, too; if you're here to enter financial or other information for scholarships, you've come to the right place!

Guidance for Essay Questions

Goals and Aspirations essay question:  State your future goals as to your education and future career and describe your plan to accomplish these goals.  Explain what circumstances have affected your decision to pursue further education in your chosen major and how you have prepared for these studies.  Describe how you plan to fund your college education.   (no more than 250 words)

Unusual Circumstances essay question:   Detail any personal circumstances that make achieving your future goals more challenging. Such circumstances may include recent personal tragedies, illness, disabilities, divorce or family issues, financial need, parental unemployment, additional family members currently attending college or large number of siblings, or any other circumstances you wish us to consider. (no more than 250 words)

Guidance for Parents

Parental consent may be required.   A parent will need a different email address than their children to log into the student's profile to give consent (only for students who are under 18 years old) and to provide financial information. Providing financial information may increase your matches for needs-based scholarships. Your parent is the only person who can see the details of this information.  An "Estimated Family Contribution" amount, similar to a FAFSA calculation, will be shown on the profile that is visible to scholarship sponsors and local Dollars for Scholars Board members.
