The 2018 Scholarship Application Period is closed.

The Scholarship Committee will meet on May 2, 2018 to determine Scholarship Awards.  Award recipients will be notified thereafter to attend the CSF Awards Night presentation on May 23, 2018.

To coincide with the change to an earlier date for completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), our scholarship application period is also opening earlier. The ChapterNet Student Dashboard is your "one-stop shop" for everything related to our chapter's scholarships. Log in and create your student profile or, for previous applicants, simply update your student profile, and you'll be able to apply for the scholarships you're eligible for with just a few clicks. Our Chapter offers two scholarship categories: one for 2018 high school graduates and a second for students already attending a college or university & pursuing an undergraduate degree.  Scholarships are not offered for Graduate School.  You must be a Mansfield resident to initially qualify.  Your completed profile will determine which scholarship you are eligible for.  However, your eligibility is not limited to just the Mansfield Chapter's scholarships -- you'll see opportunities from Scholarship America's partners across the nation.

What's more, logging into the Student Dashboard will also give you access to volunteer and internship opportunities, important news about college life, and exclusive resources to help you manage your money, succeed in college, and take advantage of everything Dollars for Scholars has to offer.

If you're a parent, this is a great resource, too; if you're here to enter financial or other information for scholarships, you've come to the right place!

Step 1 - Create an account.

Students should use a permanent email address, not their school email address, when registering on this site. Step 2 - Build your profile.  You will complete information in the following areas:

Basic and additional information

School information

Academic information

Activities, employment and awards

Family Financial Information

Support material

Detailed guidance and instructions to complete the Student Profile, Financial information, Etc. are provided in downloadable documents prepared by Scholarship America, as follows:

CHECK YOUR STUDENT DASHBOARD OFTEN!

To increase your match for national scholarships, keep your profile current and check your dashboard frequently for notification of new scholarship opportunities. Fastweb will use information contained in your profile to match to national scholarships and your profile will serve as your application for those scholarships.

Complete your profile accurately and thoroughly; scoring for Dollars for Scholars scholarships will be based on the information you provide. To increase your chances for a Fastweb scholarship match, you should complete the entire profile.  Please note that the essay questions described below are NOT required, but are optional, if you are applying for only CSF of Mansfield Scholarships; you can simply enter "None" in the profile.

Carefully review your profile before submitting for a scholarship. Once you apply for a scholarship, you cannot modify your profile for that scholarship.

Guidance for Essay Questions

Goals and Aspirations essay question:  State your future goals as to your education and future career and describe your plan to accomplish these goals.  Explain what circumstances have affected your decision to pursue further education in your chosen major and how you have prepared for these studies.  Describe how you plan to fund your college education.   (no more than 250 words)

Unusual Circumstances essay question:   Detail any personal circumstances that make achieving your future goals more challenging. Such circumstances may include recent personal tragedies, illness, disabilities, divorce or family issues, financial need, parental unemployment, additional family members currently attending college or large number of siblings, or any other circumstances you wish us to consider. (no more than 250 words)

Guidance for Parents

Parental consent may be required.   A parent will need a different email address than their child's to log into the student's profile to give consent (only for students who are under 18 years old) and to provide financial information. Providing financial information may increase your matches for needs based scholarships. Your parent is the only person who can see the details of this information.  An "Estimated Family Contribution" amount, similiar to a FAFSA calculation, will be shown on the profile that is visible to scholarship sponsors and local Dollars for Scholars Board members.
